Following a successful first round, Advancing PNG Women Leaders Network Inc. is proud to announce that the Rural PNG Value Adding Small Grants (Round 2-2026) is now accepting applications. If your organization is already doing great work in rural Papua New Guinea and needs a K5,000 “value-added” boost to grow your impact, this is your opportunity.
What are we looking for?
We are looking to strengthen existing projects that are already making a difference. Your project should focus on:
- Adding Value: Expanding your current activities to reach more people or provide better services.
- Building Resilience: Strengthening the community’s ability to handle challenges.
- Promoting Peace: Fostering unity and harmony within rural areas.
Key Eligibility Requirements
To ensure the funds reach dedicated and organized groups, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Registration: Must be registered with the IPA or provide 3 community referees who can verify your ongoing work.
- Banking: You must have a business/non-personal bank account (or a verified 3rd party non-personal account).
- Location: The project must be based in and benefit rural Papua New Guinea.
- Vision: A clear story showing how your project aligns with your organization’s mission.

Don’t wait! The portal closes on Friday, 29th May 2026, at 4:00 PM.

- Prepare Your Story: You will have 300 words to tell us about your organization and the vital work you do. Focus on the community need you are solving and how this K5,000 will add value to your current efforts.
- Submit Early: Ensure you have your referees or IPA documents ready to upload.
