Global Women in Management (GWIM 76) 2026 Applications Now Open

The Global Women in Management Program

GWIM 75 – 2025, Washington DC

The Global Women in Management Program (GWIM), implemented by Counterpart International with the generous support of the ExxonMobil Foundation, is a global initiative launched in 2005 to advance women’s economic leadership and accelerate inclusive economic and social change.

GWIM delivers a long-term, results-oriented investment in women’s management, leadership, and technical capacity through integrated training, executive coaching, and global networks. Grounded in more than 40 years of women’s leadership experience, the program addresses persistent barriers to women’s economic advancement by strengthening decision-making authority, access to resources, and enterprise and institutional growth.

GWIM integrates emerging technologies – including AI-enabled learning tools and digital platforms – alongside STEAM-informed approaches that build systems thinking, data literacy, and innovation capabilities. This combined model equips women to increase productivity, improve business and institutional performance, access higher-value markets, and adapt to technology-driven economic environments.

Counterpart International are pleased to offer GWIM 76 hybrid (in-person and online) in 2026

GWIM 76 will begin with an in-person training in Washington DC.
After these in-person sessions, the participants will engage in online training, mentorship sessions, and additional group support convenings to boost their knowledge. These online sessions will be held on a monthly or bi-monthly basis (subject to change), totaling approximately 16-20 hours.

From October 19 to October 30, 2026, 20 women leaders will participate in the GWIM in-person training in Washington DC
This program enhances leadership, builds participants’ confidence, deepens skills in Artificial Intelligence and emerging technologies, and equips participants with knowledge and skills for increased professional responsibilities and to grow their organizations and enterprises. The workshop fosters knowledge exchange, engagement with expert resource persons, and access to valuable resources.

Over the course of these several months, you will engage with expert facilitators and women leaders from around the world. The group size is kept small, and the course is designed to allow participants to share their experiences and engage with and learn from their peers. In addition to the required sessions, you will learn through self-guided assignments, group work, and a practicum to apply new knowledge and skills in the workplace.

All applications are due by 11:59 PM EST on April 30, 2026, with no exceptions. Any applications received after that date will not be considered.
